Plywood

Plywood is a laminated glued structure made of three or more sheets of wood. To give the plywood sheet strength, the sheets are glued together perpendicular to the location of the fibers.

Plywood is easily processed: various coatings can be applied to the surface, for example, laminate, veneer, paint or varnish.

Plywood grades

 

Grade B (I)

Grades B/B (I/I), B/BB (I /II) are used for the front surfaces of furniture, interior or exterior decoration, laminated plywood. Where it is important to preserve the external beauty of plywood and use its strength to the maximum. It is covered with varnish or not covered with anything.

Requirements – Grade B (I)

Falling knots and holes

Partially fused, non-fused, falling out knots and holes from them

 

Wormholes

With a diameter of not more than 6 mm in the amount of 3 pcs. per m2

 

Healthy fused knots

No more than 5 healthy fused knots per m2, up to 15 mm in diameter and minor brown streaks are also allowed

 

Grade BB (II)

Grade BB/BB, BB/CP (II/II, II/III) is used for various furniture and interior elements, floor coverings and lamination bases. It is covered with various finishing materials and paints.

 

Requirements – Grade BB (II)

Falling knots and holes

Partially fused, non-fused, falling out knots and holes from tchem

 

It is allowed to repair the surface of the plywood sheet

Knots and open defects on plywood are sealed with veneer inserts

 

Healthy fused knots

No more than 10 healthy fused knots per m2, up to 25 mm in diameter and minor brown streaks are also allowed

 

Grade CP/CP, CP/C (III/III, III/IV) is intended for the manufacture of structures hidden from external view, various special containers and packaging. A great solution when there are no requirements for appearance, but you want to maintain strength and water resistance.

Grade C (IV)

Such plywood is used for the manufacture of durable containers and packaging. Only good bonding is guaranteed.

Diameter not more than 40 mm in unlimited quantity
